Update -Peaches continues
to do wonderfully in foster care. She is so loving and sweet. What an angel!
We have found that she either needs a slow introduction to other dogs or to
be an only dog. The people at the kennel said she got along good with the
other dogs there, but at home she seems to be a little more guarded. I think
she would be fine with a slow introduction done properly and really this is
best for all dogs coming into and out of foster care.
Peaches is just wonderful in the house, she even chooses to go take naps
in her crate with the door left open. All it takes is one look into those
beautiful brown eyes and you just melt.

Peachy, now goes by Peaches,
and what a peach she is! This little girl is a boxer/english bulldog mix.
She is the most loving dog I have ever met. There are so many wonderful
things to say about her I don't know where to begin, let's start with the
car, she rides beautifully, quite as a mouse. She is crate trained,
housebroken, never one accident since the day we got her. She must have had
some training because she knows basic commands. You can leave her with the
run of the house and come home to find her snuggling in the same
chair she was in when you left !
Although she greets everyone she
meets with lots of wiggles and might come up for a kiss, she is a nice calm
dog. As soon as you greet her she will roll over for a belly rub!
Peaches
did great at her doctor appointment yesterday. She was having a very small
issue with her left hind leg, she seemed to baby it a few times. The doctor
did x-rays and all her bones look good, everything is in place and no
problems with her hip. We think at some point in her little life she hurt
her leg and it just didn't get the proper exercise it needed leaving her
with one leg that is a little stronger than the other. The vet thinks that
some exercise will do her good. The doctor said "she is such a great dog, if
I hadn't just adopted a dog I would take her in a heartbeat."
Peaches is
hoping that you will give her the chance to prove her love. I can promise
you won't be disappointed.

Peachy is a sweet little girl looking for a home of her own. She is a happy
little girl that is just lovin life. She wants to play and be loved. The
kennel staff said she is one of the happiest little girls they have met. She
