Meet AABR’s own weapon against boredom. Cashes is a typical 8 month old boxer puppy – he’s full of fun and happiness. Cashes never met a toy he didn’t like and one of his most fun games is to grab one of his toys, shake it into submission, and then wing it across the room. Needless to say, most of his toys are of the soft, stuffed variety. Cashes is a very smart little fellow and loves to learn. His foster family has already started him on clicker training and within hours, this little guy started to figure out that the more fun he has learning, the more often he hears that clicker noise – so he’s doing everything he can possibly think of to make that happen. Smart, smart boy. Cashes needs a home with another energetic dog. He is presently in foster care with a dominant older female and shows her absolute respect. We’d like him to continue to share his life with another dog - he really enjoys the company and friendship. Cashes is housebroken and when walked with his harness, is very good on lead. There is no doubt that Cashes is a high energy, very happy and sweet puppy. He’d thrive in an active household. But like most boxers, particularly boxer puppies, he loves down time with his humans. After playtime, he loves nothing better then to jump up on the couch with you and just cuddle. This sweetheart is just an all around fun and loving boy.

Cashes is a sweet, fun very cuddly puppy. He was surrendered to AABR by his owner who went over to Iraq.

Cashes is all about playing with my female boxer. Once they have worn each other out, then they like to cuddle with one another for a good nap. We are working on his training and housebreaking. Each day he is proving to be on his way to being completely trained. He loves going for walks, he has learned to sit, stay and give paw for his tricks and he behaves himself nicely when he is in the crate.

He would love to have a forever home with an active family to keep up with.

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please first read the information on our Adoption Procedures, then fill out an online application.

Boxers and Applicants are not matched on a first come, first served basis. Not all applications are approved. On average, it takes between a week and 1 month to adopt a Rescue Boxer to an approved applicant, depending on your personal circumstances and flexibility.

Matching Boxers suitable for placement with younger children, other dogs, cats, and special needs, yours and theirs, increases the application review time and adoption time.

And yes, we realize that the Boxer you may have your heart set on, may be adopted before you're approved.   Should your first choices all ready found their forever home, we want you to advise us as to other dogs you are interested in at Adoptions@AdoptABoxerRescue.com .  Or let us suggest a few that we feel will match your home.  That is what we are good at.   And be happy for the ones that have been placed... and know that there are way too many fantastic dogs waiting in their place.

Our non-profit organization is wholly comprised of hard-working volunteers whose only reward is seeing our wonderful Boxers placed in loving, permanent homes and given another chance for a happy life. Our process may seem slow, but if you are patient, we will try to provide you with a devoted, loving companion - a Boxer.

We hope you feel that the right Boxer is worth waiting for.

Adoptions Fee: $300
