I had the pleasure of meeting with Kristen and her foster dad Bill who is clearly taking very good care of this girl and showing her all the comforts of home.

Kristen is a smart, fun loving, high energy girl with a personality to entertain and sweet looks to melt your heart.  She is a compact bundle of fun and energy and as such is looking for a like minded home where her people will also enjoy plenty of exercise walking, playing fetch with her and just hanging out at home.

As a strong minded girl, she requires an experienced pack leader who can be a good influence; kind, calm and confident and give her some simple consistent rules to follow so that she can just enjoy her new life. 

Kristen's ideal home would be one where she isn't left alone all day - she's a typical young exuberant girl.  She would also love a fenced yard to give her extra playtime. If you are looking to add a big personality to your active family, look no further than the beautiful Kristen.

Kristen is now in a foster home and will be updating her shortly.  Because of her exuberance, we feel a home with older children would be better for her than young tots.

We have been told Kristen was found with (we think) her sister Copper on a busy, busy road. No collars, no tags. These 2 girls are the same age, both have tails and adore each other. They look like home bred Boxers. 

Two friendlier dogs you could not find. They are now safe off the streets but are staying in a kennel until we find a foster or adoptive home for them.

We will adopt them separately if we can not find a place for them together.

Boxers and Applicants are not matched on a first come, first served basis. Not all applications are approved. On average, it takes between a week and 1 month to adopt a Rescue Boxer to an approved applicant, depending on your personal circumstances and flexibility.  

Matching Boxers suitable for placement with younger children, other dogs, cats, and special needs, yours and theirs, increases the application review time and adoption time.  

And yes, we realize that the Boxer you may have your heart set on, may be adopted before you're approved.   Should your first choices all ready found their forever home, we want you to advise us as to other dogs you are interested in at Adoptions@AdoptABoxerRescue.com .  Or let us suggest a few that we feel will match your home.  That is what we are good at.   And be happy for the ones that have been placed... and know that there are way too many fantastic dogs waiting in their place.

Our non-profit organization is wholly comprised of hard-working volunteers whose only reward is seeing our wonderful Boxers placed in loving, permanent homes and given another chance for a happy life. Our process may seem slow, but if you are patient, we will try to provide you with a devoted, loving companion - a Boxer.
