12/10/09 - Memorial
For our beautiful Rosie who filled our hearts with peace and happiness. We
had just lost our beloved boxer, Mugs, and needed to fill the emptiness in
our lives. Rosie came into our lives through AABR and took us and our
household over. If we went out, Rosie expected to go also - so she never
stayed home. Of course, she also wiggled into my husband's heart and if he
took out his car keys, she was at the door. She loved our hugs - we miss
her kisses and love. Our lives were so enriched with her in it. Rosie was
meant to be there for us.

Rosie is
such a sweet and gentle girl. She is so good in the house, she is good about
going in the crate although I don't think she really needs one. She is so
easy to walk and listens very well. She is not bothered by cats that she
sees on walks, so I think she would be okay in a home with cats. She came
within 3 feet of a cat on a walk and had no reaction. She is fine when out
on a walk with other dogs. I feel that she could go to a home with a
submissive dog as long as she was introduced properly. Rosie would be great
for someone who is looking for a loving companion, she is just so easy
going. Seniors really are best. Won't you open your heart to this loving
girl?
12/1/06 - Rosie
We got a call from Orphans of the Storm about Rosie. They told us how nice
she was and asked us to take her. She was at a high kill shelter, and they
kept her from being put down because she is such a keeper.
When I picked Rosie up, the Orphans of the Storm representative
said that he wished he had room for another dog because he would have kept
her. She is very friendly and rides great in the car. She laid in the front
seat and put her head on my arm and just looked at me with her beautiful
brown eyes. She is a very happy and content dog. She is reported to be good
with dogs and cats. We are not sure about children yet, but as gentle as she
is, I don't think it will be an issue. We will check more into that.
Right now Rosie is in a kennel. She's very sweet and loving. She is thin,
and needs to gain some weight, but she is a beautiful dog.
Is your home the one that will make Rosie's life complete and safe for
the rest of her life? She is looking for someone who won't dump her again,
and she will give you nothing but love & kisses in return! Contact us about
Rosie!
