Jess is now in foster care and she's just wonderful.
Jess is housebroken, is left alone for a full workday and does not touch a
thing. Jess is a fairly laid back girl - and completely non-threatening.
She is in foster care with a very cranky old lady boxer girl and Jess has
even won her heart over. There does not seem to be a person that Jess has
met so far that she has not wanted to cuddle and play with - she's always
happy! She does however have the saddest eyes but I'll let you in on a
secret - I think she uses that sweet face to sucker you into loving her even
more!
Jess would do fine in almost any home. She loves
men and women equally. She's not convinced that she's not quite a lap dog
so perhaps older kids, steady on their feet, would be best to live with
Jess. She's great with other dogs.
We do want you to know that Jess appears to have
food allergies. Once this was discovered, we immediately got her medical
attention and she's now on medication and a non-allergic diet. Our vet
believes that her need for medication will be short lived however she will
need to be on the special food forever (easily obtained). Other then this,
Jess is in perfect health.
f the dog you want to share your home with is
young, energetic, happy and loving, then Jess is the girl for you. She's
waiting for a loving family to call her own.

Here are a couple of pictures of Jess....she is a
darling girl. She goes tomorrow for her spaying, and her vet exam. I
brought her into the shop and cleaned her ears, she was wonderful. That's a
big deal in my book. I love the picture with the lower teeth showing, it's
too cute.
She's sweet, and friendly. She met the guys who
came to install our coal stove, and she was wonderful. One of them looked
like Santa, white beard and all. She liked him a lot, I think she told him
to bring her a family for Christmas.
12/8/06 - Jess
The shelter called and asked us to
take Jess. They pulled her off the euthanasia list 3 times. All the staff
loved her. Being a boxer mix (a cute one) did not help get her a home.
Jess is now safe with us and EVERYONE who meets her
loves her!!! She is just a happy, happy dog.
We will get better pictures. This one does not show
how cute she really is. |
