is in foster! Thank you to some very special heroes who stepped up to
foster Bubba and nurse him back to health.

Some
dogs don't do well in kennels. A change in circumstances has recently
moved Bubba out of foster and into a Kennel. It is breaking our
hearts, because he is literally wasting away at the kennel.
This is what real rescue is about... Bubba needs a hero to get him out of
the kennel!
Please be Bubba's hero!

Bubba
is an amazing, beautifully-marked brindle pup who has unfortunately been
through a lot. According to a recent foster, despite his past
history, he is a playful, affectionate, lovable pup who loves to be around
his human friends. His playfulness can get a little rough so he should be
placed with a family with children 12 or older. He needs a good pack leader
and someone who enjoys walking him and willing to provide some obedience
training. He knows a few basics (sit, come, stay) but its obvious that his
owner didn't provide the training needed.
He is housebroken and will let you know if he needs to go out in the
middle of the night with a little whine or a lick on the hand. Bubba does
well alone with the run of the house - no destruction or accidents. He runs
like a gazelle and has a wonderful personality. Bubba is an exceptional car
rider and loves to take walks. He appears nothing but playful with other
dogs even though they don't often understand the "Boxer-style" of play (with
paws). He does provide warning barks if someone approaches the house and
seems to catch on quickly with regards to his property's boundaries. Bubba
also thinks he's a lap dog and likes to fall asleep in your arms/lap. If
he's not in your arms/lap asleep, he loves to curl up in a ball in his
doggie bed.
He will make a wonderful, loving addition to an active family. Look at
this amazingly beautiful brindle boy...Are you his forever home?

Bubba is
such a sweetie! He was the perfect gentleman when he finally got outside to
take a brisk walk and did well on the leash. He will take as much leash as
you provide him access to... if you keep him on a short lead, he will go at
your pace. If you give him a longer leash, he will go at his pace however he
does not pull you down the street. Bubba is currently in need of a good
home. He's in a kennel at the moment and is trying to win over all of the
staff and visitors with his good looks and playful yet gentle nature. Upon
return from his walks, he likes to nuzzle up with any humans that are around
and play a bit on the floor. It would seem that he would benefit from basic
obedience training as he will sit for biscuits, but does not seem to know
other basic commands at this time. It would seem that he is housetrained as
the kennel staff are amazed that he has yet to make any mess in his kennel,
even during overnight hours. Won't you consider opening your house to this
brindle boy? We will update his page as soon as we know more about this
cutie pie!

Bubba is a wonderfully, sweet boy who has found himself in the unfortunate
situation of needing a new home. He was surrendered to the shelter with
another dog, but no one is quite sure why. He is a very happy, friendly guy,
definitely loves people and is reported to be good with children. Bubba
needs a committed family who will love him and work with him on basic
obedience. Kennel life is no fun, Bubba wants a family to call his own and a
yard to run and play in. Thank you for considering Bubba |
