2/11/07 This
gentleman does everything in life with class and dignity. Unfortunately for
poor Prescott, life has not always been so perfect to him. This unfortunate
boy came to AABR in poor health, suffering from bite wounds and a severe
case of pneumonia (from which he is still recovering). Even through this he
has kept true to his kind heart. He has been perfect for the vet, perfect as
a patient at home, and is giving his all to make a speedy and full recovery.
Prescott is a dream in the house. He is housebroken and can be left loose
in the house during the workday. He just curls up on the couch and waits for
you to get home. He gets along great with other dogs, and although very
interested in them, is good with the cats as well. Outside the home,
Prescott carries himself with pride. He floats along beside you, rarely, if
ever, pulling on the leash. Distractions like other dogs or cats spark
little more than a glance from this boy. It is hard to say how much of this
boy’s personality remains locked inside as he puts his efforts into
regaining his health. But what we’ve seen so far is great, and there is
certainly only more personality to be found as he reclaims his strength.
For now, we’ll soak up all the kisses and wiggles we can get from this
sweetie and hope for his full recovery. Please wish for Prescott’s speedy
recovery and get your applications in now for this wonderful boy!
2/05/07 - Meet Prescott
Prescott was picked up as a stray by a shelter. Then one of his owners
were located, but there had been a death in the family and they opted not to
take him back
What a true gentleman. Prescott is such a great dog looking for a great
home. He lived with children and is fine with other dogs as far as we can
see. He walks well on a leash and is just a sweet sweet boy. Sadly, he is
getting very very stressed in the kennel.
Please someone offer to foster this great guy. He is housebroken and very
well behaved!! Please help us help him by getting him out of the kennel asap!!
He is getting more depressed by the day. |
