1/05/08 Hi everybody, Casey here! 2008
is already here and I am still waiting for my forever home. I am a very nice
girl who gets along well with my foster siblings and just about any one I
meet. I have a very calm and docile nature but I love to go for walks and
once in a while, romp with my foster siblings. I am very well behaved. I
don’t have accidents in the house and I have never considered chewing my
foster mom’s things when she goes out for the day. I really like cuddling up
with her just to hang out, or I really love to go with her in the car. I am
always excited to see my foster mom when she returns; I greet her at the
door with a tail wag and a bark just to let her know that I am excited.
Wouldn’t you love to be the special person that shares their world with me?
Just take me for a walk and give me a good treat and I will be your loyal
best friend for life!

Update - Casey has been with
me for a while now. Like her previous foster mom stated, she is wonderful!
If someone really wants to experience what man's best friend is like, then
Casey is your girl. She listens so well. She does well with the youngsters,
including a bossy Maltese. Her nickname is "Mama Casey" because she always
seems to be showing the younger dogs the ropes. She is quite the cuddler,
she loves to curl up right next to me at bed time. She also cuddles with her
foster brother and sisters in their dog bed. She is one hundred percent
house trained and crate trained. She is also spunky at times, she likes to
play with the others or she is content just getting love from her human.
Casey is looking for the right home that will give her the love and
affection she deserves. Maybe you have what it takes to have such a
wonderful girl join your family...

So do you want to know who
the easiest dog in rescue today is? It's Casey! Affectionately dubbed "the
Wonder Dog" by her foster mom. Casey possesses all those qualities we love
in the boxer breed. She is extremely intelligent, affectionate, loves to
please.
Because we have received a plethora of emails from Casey's foster mom
praising her, we decided to give you a quick update on the life of Casey.
Her first day back in rescue, after 4 years in what she thought was her
forever home, she transitioned beautifully. She immediately made friends
with her transporter and spent the day cuddling on the couch and even taking
a nap with her! She began showing her amazing temperament immediately,
taking the sights and sounds of NYC in stride. As soon as she went to her
real foster home, we received an email from her foster mom saying this:
Casey is EXCELLENT in the car. She is VERY well behaved and the introduction
to my two dogs was unbelievable. No problem AT ALL. We came in and they
sniffed each other over and over and then Casey wanted to play with my
boxer! Within less than two minutes she fit right in.
She loves Cass my boxer and Toby my old man is fine too but not as
playful as she and Cass are. So she does wonderfully with other dogs. I gave
them all a treat and she IS NOT good aggressive which is wonderful and she
shows an interest in walking, though in this heat. I will keep it to a
minimum. She is a kisser and loves to be pet and brushed.
What a wonderful girl. She is 100% housebroken and she does very
well while her foster mom is at work. Casey can be left during the day
without any problem. She does not jump on the furniture but loves to cuddle
in bed at night. She also loves to go for walks and is exceptional on her
leash.
Casey has even been recommended as an excellent choice for someone who
has never had a dog before. So get your applications in today for the best
kept secret in rescue!

- Casey
Casey is coming back
into rescue because her adoptive home is having a baby and is moving into a
new home with her boyfriend and he has 2 cats. Casey has never lived with
cats and she chases them when outside. Casey lived with both small and large
dogs.
Casey is a fawn spayed
female boxer. She has natural ears and a docked tail. Casey is a loving and
wonderful boxer girl that is loyal and sweet. Casey was around kids of all
ages but would do best in a home with kids over 8. Please help give Casey
her FOREVER home where she won't have to worry about where she will spend
her golden yrs.
