If you're a runner have we got the partner for you; Kiko. This guy give you the best of both world; health and happiness. If you are committed to exercise, discipline, affection, Kiko will be committed to you. This guy has adjusted well to pack life. He would be the perfect addition to any pack. 2 weeks with us and he is totally house broken and crate trained and does well with all basic commands. He walks well on his leash or runs at your side.

This little guy deserves his forever home. Is that you? Again, we must stress No Small Animals. If you have any small critters in your family Kiko is not for your family. He was found on the streets so right now it's survival in his eyes. We are working on it!

LOVE ME! ADOPT ME! Give me my forever home!

11/19/07 - Kiko

Are you looking for a roommate that does not clean, cook or pay any bills BUT is always happy to see you? Someone that puts a smile on your face? That is waiting for you after a hard day at work? Goes with you for that early morning run or simply hangs out watching the game?  If so we have the boy for you…Meet Kiko!

Kiko is ~7 month old baby boy found all alone in NYC and is now looking for his forever home. Kiko is full of boxer love. He is sweet as sugar and gets along with every one he meets!

Currently Kiko is staying with 1 male and 2 female boxers and adult humans. He is accepting crate training and house breaking very well.

He has met cats but wants to chase and catch them so we must suggest a home with no small animals. He loves children and we are working on his meet and greet manners. Kiko is a young boy that has a lot of energy and is very excitable. He needs an active home that will exercise  and train him. He is doing well on the leash, is very enthusiastic about toys, and learning his basic commands.

Thank you
Linda Van Duzer for naming Kiko in memory of your beloved pug Kiko Van Duzer-Weiss

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please first read the information on our Adoption Procedures, then fill out an online application.

Boxers and Applicants are not matched on a first come, first served basis. Not all applications are approved. On average, it takes between a week and 1 month to adopt a Rescue Boxer to an approved applicant, depending on your personal circumstances and flexibility.

Matching Boxers suitable for placement with younger children, other dogs, cats, and special needs, yours and theirs, increases the application review time and adoption time.

And yes, we realize that the Boxer you may have your heart set on, may be adopted before you're approved.   Should your first choices all ready found their forever home, we want you to advise us as to other dogs you are interested in at Adoptions@AdoptABoxerRescue.com .  Or let us suggest a few that we feel will match your home.  That is what we are good at.   And be happy for the ones that have been placed... and know that there are way too many fantastic dogs waiting in their place.

Our non-profit organization is wholly comprised of hard-working volunteers whose only reward is seeing our wonderful Boxers placed in loving, permanent homes and given another chance for a happy life. Our process may seem slow, but if you are patient, we will try to provide you with a devoted, loving companion - a Boxer.

We hope you feel that the right Boxer is worth waiting for.

Adoptions Fee: $300
