Hi, Duchess here just checking
in to let you know everything is ok here at the kennel but it is not home. I
know your thinking but she's bull terrier. I know I am but I just like my
boxer friends deserve my forever home. I am a good girl. I love to play,
run, walk, hike, roller skate, ski, snow board what ever it takes to find my
master. Won't you please consider fostering or even better adopting me
today? I am such a sweet girl!!
Thank you, Duchess

Meet Duchess, a stunningly beautiful young Staffie girl. Duchess was the
victim of an apartment eviction, yet another unwanted or abandoned dog who's
plight came to the attention of an AABR volunteer. Although she isn't a
boxer, she is one of the most loyal and loving breeds on the planet, known
for their dedication to their families.
Duchess has a glorious sleek black coat that gleams like silk. She's an
energetic girl who loves to walk and play and she would enjoy having an
active owner to play with. She enjoys the company of other dogs in the
kennel where she is staying while looking for her forever or foster home.
Like many dogs, Duchess does not like squirrels or cats as she finds them
too fluffy and intriguing, so a home without kitties is best for her. If you
have a fenced yard, she would be in heaven!
Everyone who meets this delightful girl says that she is fun loving and
very affectionate. She really should be in her own home, tucked in by a cozy
fire. Kennels are no place for dogs in the winter, particularly girls like
duchess with very short thin coats. If you think you'd like to meet her,
please fill out an application form and mention her by name. She is sure to
be thrilled by your interest and you won't be disappointed. We know there is
someone as special as Duchess out there and she hopes that she will meet you
soon. |

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please first read the
information on our
Adoption Procedures,
then fill out an
online application.
Boxers and Applicants
are not matched on a first come, first served basis.
Not all applications are approved. On average, it takes
between a week and 1 month to adopt a Rescue Boxer to an
approved applicant, depending
on your personal circumstances and flexibility.
Matching Boxers suitable for placement
with younger children, other dogs, cats, and special
needs, yours and theirs, increases the application review
time and adoption time.
And yes, we
realize that the Boxer you may have your heart set on, may be adopted
before you're approved. Should your first choices all ready
found their forever home, we want you to advise
us as to other dogs you are interested in at
Adoptions@AdoptABoxerRescue.com . Or let
us suggest a few that we feel will match your home.
That is what we are good at. And be happy for the
ones that have been placed... and know that there are way too many
fantastic dogs waiting in their place.
Our non-profit organization is wholly comprised of hard-working volunteers whose only reward is seeing our wonderful
Boxers placed in loving, permanent homes and given another chance for a happy life. Our process may seem slow, but if you are patient, we will try to provide you with a devoted, loving companion - a
Boxer.
We hope you feel that
the right Boxer is worth waiting for.
