Hey, it’s me Waffles! I am just letting you know how I am doing; GREAT! I
am a good boy! I have accepted being part of the pack. I am staying with my
boxer friends and their humans.
I am still looking for my forever home. I want a family I can call my own!
One to commit to being my FOREVER home!
I am looking for a strong leader, a committed leader. I am a dog, a social
animal that needs the structure and leadership. A pack leader the runs the
helm. Are you committed to giving me vigorous, daily exercise? Are you
committed to being clear and consistent about my rules, boundaries and
limitations? If you answered yes then I am the dog for you! I promise I will
give you unconditional love, plenty of exercise, and a life of enjoyment.

HI, I'm Waffles and I am a GREAT DOG! Just ask my foster family. I am
looking for my forever family --one that has time to spend with a young,
energetic, strong boxer boy! You must be a boxer savvy home that is ready to
commit to giving me lots of exercise and attention. I am looking for my pack
leader; someone to walk with, run with and play with. I LOVE to play FETCH!
I love squeaky toys, my Kong, my wubba and this week I discovered that I
Love Snow!
I know the basic commands. I am house broken but I am not crate trained...my
foster family is trying...I was very well mannered for all the company this
holiday season and everyone loved me! Besides my humans I am living with 3
boxers (who are great but I need my own family) and a cat who thinks he's a
boxer. Do you want to be my forever family? PLEASE put in your application
today for me, Waffles!

Waffles is a gorgeous
light brindle male boxer. He is a 1-2 yr old male boxer with natural ears
and a docked tail. Waffles was neutered yesterday and up dated on all shots.
Waffles is a very
friendly guy. Waffles was picked up from the same shelter along with Cookie.
They were both scheduled for euthanasia as they are so packed they have
crates triple stacked in offices and there hold time was up.
Waffles is going into
foster today with other dogs, kids and cats. We will update the site soon.
Waffles is a highly athletic in shape male boxer that needs a home that can
give him the time attention and exercise a young male needs. |

Boxers and Applicants
are not matched on a first come, first served basis.
Not all applications are approved. On average, it takes
between a week and 1 month to adopt a Rescue Boxer to an
approved applicant, depending
on your personal circumstances and flexibility.
Matching Boxers suitable for placement
with younger children, other dogs, cats, and special
needs, yours and theirs, increases the application review
time and adoption time.
And yes, we
realize that the Boxer you may have your heart set on, may be adopted
before you're approved. Should your first choices all ready
found their forever home, we want you to advise
us as to other dogs you are interested in at
Adoptions@AdoptABoxerRescue.com . Or let
us suggest a few that we feel will match your home.
That is what we are good at. And be happy for the
ones that have been placed... and know that there are way too many
fantastic dogs waiting in their place.
Our non-profit organization is wholly comprised of hard-working volunteers whose only reward is seeing our wonderful
Boxers placed in loving, permanent homes and given another chance for a happy life. Our process may seem slow, but if you are patient, we will try to provide you with a devoted, loving companion - a
Boxer.
