KiKi is now in foster and what a love! KiKi's last week has been traumatic at best, but she has shown herself to be a solid citizen. Everyone who has met her has instantly fallen in love with this girl. Even the people at the kill shelter where KiKi was originally surrendered showered her in hugs and kisses before she left with the AABR volunteer that transported her to safety. During her transport she curled up next to the volunteer, placed her head on his lap, and slept. KiKi has now been spayed by the AABR veterinarians and is living in a foster home. KiKi's introduction to her foster home went very well. With a seamless, proper introduction KiKi and her new foster sister immediately accepted one another. You could see the relief in KiKi's face when her new foster mom welcomed KiKi into her home. KiKi so desperately wants to be loved and share her love. She will make an excellent addition to almost any home. Her loving disposition and easy going personality make her a rare find. You will not find a sweeter, cuter, more loving lady around. Please consider adopting this sweet girl and you will be showered in her unconditional love for years to come!

4/7/08 - KiKi

KIKI was an owner surrender to the highest kill facility in the area.  She was surrendered solely because the owners did not want her anymore.  She is wonderful with dogs, cats and humans.  She is house broken and had the free run of her home. She is used to a fenced in yard and lots of walks.  She is about 4 years old and is just as sweet as can be!  She deserves someone who will commit to her as she commits to her humans.  Please make room in your heart and home for KIKI- she will adore you!

Boxers and Applicants are not matched on a first come, first served basis. Not all applications are approved. On average, it takes between a week and 1 month to adopt a Rescue Boxer to an approved applicant, depending on your personal circumstances and flexibility.  

Matching Boxers suitable for placement with younger children, other dogs, cats, and special needs, yours and theirs, increases the application review time and adoption time.  

And yes, we realize that the Boxer you may have your heart set on, may be adopted before you're approved.   Should your first choices all ready found their forever home, we want you to advise us as to other dogs you are interested in at Adoptions@AdoptABoxerRescue.com .  Or let us suggest a few that we feel will match your home.  That is what we are good at.   And be happy for the ones that have been placed... and know that there are way too many fantastic dogs waiting in their place.

Our non-profit organization is wholly comprised of hard-working volunteers whose only reward is seeing our wonderful Boxers placed in loving, permanent homes and given another chance for a happy life. Our process may seem slow, but if you are patient, we will try to provide you with a devoted, loving companion - a Boxer.
