Jasmine is such a sweet and gentle boxer girl.  She LOVES the children in her temporary home.  Jasmine is very eager to please and sensitive to voice tone.  We are continuing to look for a placement for her when she is ready to move to a new home.  Apply today for this beautiful girl!

Jasmine will be looking for a foster, or better yet a forever home, when her puppies are weaned in four more weeks.  This beautiful girl loves to be with people and just wants attention.  She does well with other dogs (small and large).  If you can provide a home for Jasmine, please apply today so she will have a place to go next month and won't be at risk for going to a kennel. 

1/25/14 -

Jasmine and Kane's owners broke up and the dogs ended up finding themselves in an abandoned house.  Jasmine was taken by a friend of the owner's, but she decided to surrender her because Jasmine was pregnant and she wasn't able to provide the care she needed.  The Humane Society contacted AABR and asked us to take Jasmine and also the father to the puppies, Kane.  While we were arranging transport, Jasmine stayed in a temporary foster home through the shelter and she got along great with all of the small breed dogs there. 

We quickly learned what a wonderful temperament Jasmine had when she was transported yesterday into rescue.  Jasmine went into labor shortly after being picked up.  Even with the stress of delivering in the backseat of a car and surrounded by people she did not know, Jasmine let a complete stranger crawl in the backseat with her and even offered some kisses along the way!  Jasmine delivered two puppies in the car and then safely delivered eight more when she arrived at her foster home.  We will be posting the puppies soon, but we would really love for this beautiful mom to have a forever home once they are weaned.  Jasmine will be spayed and brought up to date on all vet care at that time.  If you are interested in fostering or adopting this beautiful girl, apply today.

Boxers and Applicants are not matched on a first come, first served basis. Not all applications are approved. On average, it takes between a week and 1 month to adopt a Rescue Boxer to an approved applicant, depending on your personal circumstances and flexibility.  

Matching Boxers suitable for placement with younger children, other dogs, cats, and special needs, yours and theirs, increases the application review time and adoption time.  

And yes, we realize that the Boxer you may have your heart set on, may be adopted before you're approved.   Should your first choices all ready found their forever home, we want you to advise us as to other dogs you are interested in at Adoptions@AdoptABoxerRescue.com .  Or let us suggest a few that we feel will match your home.  That is what we are good at.   And be happy for the ones that have been placed... and know that there are way too many fantastic dogs waiting in their place.

Our non-profit organization is wholly comprised of hard-working volunteers whose only reward is seeing our wonderful Boxers placed in loving, permanent homes and given another chance for a happy life. Our process may seem slow, but if you are patient, we will try to provide you with a devoted, loving companion - a Boxer.
